As the title of STAR MODEL AFRICA® is very prestigious the organisation is very fastidious in the selection of judges. Based on their experience, profession, and appreciation of the African culture, judges will be nominated by a special committee. Persons familiar with, or related to, any contestant will not serve on the panel of judges.

CATWALK AND RUNWAY SKILLS: where they display their ability to carry clothes they wear on stage, their style, their stage presence and self-confidence.
QUALIFICATIONS DE PASSERELLE ET DE PISTE: là où elles montrent leur capacité de porter des vêtements qu'elles portent sur l'étape, leur modèle, leur présence et confiance en soi d'étape.

PHOTOGENIC ABILITY: where they present themselves in front of top photographers and pose for cameras. They should be agile, versatile and comfortable in front of the lens man. They should able to project their personality in front of the cameras for magazines' fashion pages and press advertisements.
CAPACITÉ PHOTOGÈNE: là où ils se présentent devant les photographes supérieurs et posent pour des appareils-photo. Ils devraient soyez agile, souple et confortable devant l'homme d'objectif. Ils devraient capable projeter leur personnalité dans l'avant des appareils-photo pour magazines' ; pages de mode et annonces de presse.

PHYSICAL AND PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES: in which they should project health lifestyle, youthfulness and vitality. They should have a well-proportioned body. A lean, well toned body and healthy looking body is what we look for.
EXAMEN MÉDICAL ET ATTRIBUTS D'EXAMEN MÉDICAL: dans ce qu'ils devraient projeter le style de vie, la jeunesse et la vitalité de santé. Ils devrait avoir un corps well-proportioned. Est un maigre, un corps bien modifié la tonalité et un corps de regard sain ce que nous recherchons.

PERSONALITY: they should have an excellent personality with positive attitudes, polite, good communication skills and friendly in nature. As all Manhunt International winners will also become good role models and ambassadors of their countries and for STAR MODEL AFRICA.
PERSONNALITÉ: ils devraient avoir une excellente personnalité avec des attitudes positives, qualifications de communication polies et bonnes et amical en nature. Car tous les gagnants internationaux de chasse au homme deviendront également de bons modèles et ambassadeurs de leur pays et pour STAR MODEL AFRICA.

HOW IT WORKS/COMMENT CELA FONCTIONNE:

Following the guidelines set forth on the web site concerning dress and photo style, submit two color photographs of yourself to the mailing address below. NUDITY IS UNACCEPTABLE. You must submit atleast one image; however we prefer two (2) images, which should be a headshot and one 3/4 to full-length photo. Both photos must be in color and the images should be at least 3.5”x5"in size, and no larger than 5 ”x7". Please make sure the pictures are of good quality and are not blurry. Model should be the only person in the image and model should be standing against a solid background.

A Selection Committee will study and analyse the entries and invite nominees to participate in preliminary rounds in several countries/regions: Sierra Leone – Senegal – Ivory Coast – Ghana - Nigeria – South Africa – Mozambique – Kenya – Uganda - Morocco. Winners from each region/country will enter the grand final event to compete for the prestigious title STAR MODEL AFRICA 2009. The winner of the Grand Finale will receive the Golden Star Award and for the runners-up one (1) Silver and one (1) Bronze Star Award are available.

Un comité de sélection étudiera et analysera les entrées et invitera des dénommés à participer aux ronds préliminaires dans plusieurs pays/régions : Sierra Leone - Sénégal - la Côte d'Ivoire - Ghana - Nigéria - Afrique du Sud - Mozambique - Le Kenya - l'Ouganda - le Maroc. Les gagnants de chaque région/pays écriront l'événement final grand à concurrencez pour le MODÈLE AFRIQUE 2009 d'ÉTOILE prestigieux de titre. Le gagnant de la finale grande recevra l'étoile d'or Attribuez et pour les seconds un (1) argent et une (1) récompense en bronze d'étoile sont disponibles.

GRAND FINALE: During a African Gala Event the Final Countdown takes place in a venue and city to be decided. Amongst the guests, professionals from the modelling and advertising industry, media representatives, and other dignitaries. African entertainers will perform. Part of the proceeds will be granted to grassroots good causes in Africa for Africa.

FINALE GRANDE : Pendant un événement de gala africain le compte à rebours final a lieu dans un lieu de rendez-vous et une ville à décider. Parmi les invités, des professionnels de l'industrie de modélisation et de publicité, des représentants de médias, et d'autres honorables. Les amuseurs africains exécuteront. On accordera une partie du montant à de bonnes causes de bases en Afrique pour l'Afrique.

To enter The TOP MODEL AFRICA contest, you will need to submit the following:

A brief biographpy of yourself, with two aesthetic photographs (a head shot and a full shot) attached. Photographs will be used for initial screening and become property of Star Model Africa.

If selected, please be prepared to choose an issue (health, education, cultural, economic, or sports) that you would like to address during the on stage interview. Upon winning, you will use your status as STAR MODEL AFRICA to generate awareness for the Academy and its objectives.
